Responsibilities include:
- Adjust radio parameters based on base station types and configurations.
- Manage daily neighbor relations across all radio access technologies.
- Analyze statistics and propose solutions to enhance network efficiency.
- Conduct drive tests to monitor network quality using tools like Nemo Outdoor or Tems Investigation.
- Process and analyze drive test results using software like Nemo Analyze or Tems Discovery.
- Continuously collect and analyze statistical data from base stations to ensure network quality.
- Detect and address issues with base station performance.
- Propose improvements to enhance network performance.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors and subcontractors on network optimization.
- Perform real-time KPI measurements and subscriber/sector tracing via OSS systems.
- Test new equipment and functionalities within the radio network.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in telecommunications or equivalent specialization.
- At least 3 years of experience in telecommunications.
- Solid understanding of electromagnetic wave transmission, AFU properties, and spectrum analyzer operations.
- Knowledge of radio access technologies (CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G/NBIOT).
- Familiarity with the architecture of mobile networks, including 5G NSA/SA.
- Understanding NR5G and VoLTE technologies.
- Knowledge of resource-sharing principles (MORAN/MOCN) and NBIoT network architecture.
- Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and programming languages such as R, Python, PHP, or VBA.
- Experience with vendor systems like Huawei, Ericsson, and Nokia.
- Proficiency in software tools: U2000/iMaster MAE, PRS, Atoll, Tems, Nemo, Nastar, SmartOne, and ROMES.
