Middle Data Engineer
Required work experience: 1–3 years
Full-time, full day
Responsibilities include:
  • Participate in creating data integration environments and pipelines using tools that provide federated access and combine data from various sources.
  • Develop ETL/ELT packages for automating data migration between accounting systems and Data Warehouses (Data Lake).
  • Prepare data for publication in data marts/dashboards/reports.
  • Optimize data collection and preparation processes/procedures in response to continuous data volume growth.
  • Collect and prepare data for external consumers (scoring/verification systems).
  • Ensure the continuity of the data preparation and loading process, timely error resolution, and recovery of disrupted processes.
  • Maintain synchronization and correct sequencing of data loading processes in corporate data warehouses (Oracle & ClickHouse).
  • Participate in organizing testing processes (load/unit) of data flows.
  • Keep documentation on data sources and flows up to date.
Our Ideal Candidate should have:
  • Experience with industrial client-server RDBMS/NoSQL (Oracle, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Experience with industrial ETL/ELT tools (PowerCentre Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, Talend, etc.).
  • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
  • Experience in building data warehouses and multidimensional cubes (OLAP technologies).
  • Knowledge of Data Vault, Star schema, and Snowflake schema data models.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms (Oracle BI, Power BI, QlikView, Tableau).
  • Understanding of protocols: HTTP(S), LDAP, SMTP, (S)FTP, SOAP; Architecture: REST, SOA, API; Data structures: JSON, XML, WSDL, XSD.
  • Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git); Jira/KM – Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with big data processing technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
  • Experience with Apache Hive, and Impala.
  • Experience in building distributed data storage and processing systems.
  • Experience with Airflow, and NiFi.
