Required work experience: 1–3 years Full-time, full day Almaty city
Responsibilities include:
Optimize work processes using automation tools in the OSS system (scriptwriting in iSStar), and maintain the internal RNO database for base stations.
Analyze and make recommendations for improving spectral efficiency (e.g., refarming analysis, load balancing mechanism adjustments), and assess network capacity and load to reduce the proportion of problematic sectors.
Configure base stations as part of planned work or network modernization (expansions, launching new base stations).
Organize and conduct drive tests to monitor radio network quality using relevant hardwaresoftware complexes (e.g., Nemo Outdoor and Tems Investigation).
Perform postprocessing and analysis using appropriate software (e.g., Nemo Analyze and Tems Discovery).
Analyze statistical data from base stations and base station controllers to monitor radio network quality, and more.
Required qualifications include:
Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE radio network architecture principles.
Understanding of electrical engineering and radio communication basics, radio wave propagation theory, and antenna feeder devices theory.
Familiarity with the architecture, interfaces, and principles of 5G NSA/SA radio networks.
Basic knowledge of the NR5G radio interface.
Understanding of the OSI model and data network protocols.
Knowledge of the principles of shared radio interface use (MORAN/MOCN).
Understanding of NBIoT network principles.
Basic understanding of VoLTE technology and its optimization.
Experience with programs like Rohde&Schwarz ROMES and SmartOne (preferable).
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, VBA (preferable).
Ability to write code in one of the programming languages like Python, R, VBA, Java, SQL (preferable).
Experience working in the iSStar development environment (preferable).
